Terms and Conditions
The terms for buying and using StoreEdit AI Pro: the licence, billing and renewal, what the software does and does not do, and who to contact.
Last updated: 15 October 2026
1. Who we are, and what this covers
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) are an agreement between you (“you”, “Customer”) and Internet Wizard Ltd, a company registered in England (“we”, “us”, “our”):
Internet Wizard Ltd
2nd Floor Katherine House, 11 Wyllyotts Place
Darkes Lane, Potters Bar
Hertfordshire, EN6 2JD
England
Email: [email protected]
They apply when you buy a StoreEdit AI Pro subscription on storeeditai.com, use your licence key, or use this website. By buying or using the Service you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, our Refund Policy and our Cookies Policy. If you buy for a company, you confirm that you may bind it. If you do not agree, do not buy or use the Service.
2. Definitions
- StoreEdit AI is the free WordPress plugin, published on WordPress.org.
- StoreEdit AI Pro (“Pro”) is the add-on sold on this website. It needs StoreEdit AI to run.
- Licence key is the code issued when you buy (format
SEAI-SE-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX). It switches on Pro’s changes and its updates on your sites. - Plan is Solo (1 site), Pro (3 sites) or Agency (unlimited sites).
- Subscription period is the yearly period your licence key is valid for.
- Service means Pro, the licence key, our licence server that checks it and serves updates, this website, the documentation and our support.
3. What the Service does
StoreEdit AI lets an AI assistant you already use (such as Claude or ChatGPT) propose changes to your WooCommerce products. Every change is shown to you in WordPress before it is written, it is written only when a person with the right to manage the shop approves it, and it can be undone. Pro adds the changes for which the assistant reads each product: attributes, the right category, SEO title and meta description, product addresses (slugs), product images and product status.
There is no AI model in the plugin and we do not provide one. You use your own assistant, under its provider’s terms and on your own account with that provider. We are not responsible for what your assistant proposes. You are responsible for reviewing each change before you approve it.
4. Eligibility and your account
- You must be at least 18, or of the age of majority where you live, to buy a subscription.
- Give accurate information at checkout.
- Keep your licence key and your account details confidential. Tell us at once if you think your key has been exposed; we can issue a new one.
- You are responsible for what is done with your account and your key.
5. The software licence, and what your subscription gives you
5.1 The code is free software
StoreEdit AI and StoreEdit AI Pro are licensed under the GNU General Public License, version 2 or later (GPL). The GPL, not these Terms, governs the code itself: you may use, study, change and share it under the GPL’s conditions. Nothing in these Terms takes away a right the GPL gives you.
5.2 What you pay for
Your subscription gives you, for the subscription period:
- a licence key that switches on Pro’s changes on the number of sites in your plan;
- Pro’s updates, delivered through WordPress from our licence server, and the download in your account;
- support by email.
5.3 The licence key
- The key is for you (or your company, or for an Agency plan, the shops you run) and must not be shared, published, sold or used on more sites than your plan allows.
- A site takes a seat when you enter the key in it. You can free a seat at any time from your account or from the plugin, and use it on another site.
- We may deactivate a key that is shared or used beyond its plan.
6. Subscription, billing and renewal
6.1 Prices
Prices are those shown on this website when you buy, in US dollars. They do not include any taxes that may apply to you, which are your responsibility unless they are shown and charged at checkout.
6.2 Payment
You pay at checkout through our payment providers, Stripe or PayPal. We do not see or store your full card details.
6.3 Automatic renewal
Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each subscription period, at the price you are paying, unless you cancel before the renewal date. We email you a reminder before each renewal. You can cancel at any time from My Account → Subscriptions or by emailing us.
6.4 Price changes
We may change our prices. A change to your renewal price will be emailed to you at least 30 days before your next renewal. If you bought at a launch or promotional price, you keep that price for as long as your subscription stays active without a break; if it lapses, a new subscription is at the price of that day.
6.5 Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails, your subscription is put on hold and we email you. You can pay from your account to reactivate it. While it is on hold, your licence key is not valid.
7. When your licence is not valid
Pro checks your key with our licence server about once a day. If our server cannot be reached, Pro keeps working for 3 days from the last successful check. When your key is not valid (cancelled and ended, on hold, refunded or revoked):
- Pro’s changes become previews again: they are planned and shown, but not applied;
- everything already applied stays in your shop;
- undo of what was already applied keeps working, as long as Pro stays installed;
- the free StoreEdit AI keeps working in full;
- Pro is no longer updated.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for anything unlawful, or to change products in a way that misleads your customers or breaks the law that applies to your shop;
- add images or text that you do not have the right to use. Images added with Pro come from web addresses that you or your assistant choose; you are responsible for having the right to use them;
- attack, overload or try to get unauthorised access to our licence server or website, or get around the licence check in a way that breaches section 5.3;
- share or resell your licence key.
9. Your data and your shop
Your products, customers and orders stay in your shop. The plugin does not send them to us. What your assistant reads from your shop goes to the provider of that assistant, under its terms. Our licence server receives only your licence key, the address of the site it is used on and the Pro version. Details are in our Privacy Policy.
We recommend that you keep regular backups of your shop. Undo puts back what StoreEdit AI changed, but it is not a backup of your site.
10. Intellectual property
The StoreEdit AI name and logo, this website and its content, and the documentation belong to Internet Wizard Ltd. The code is licensed to you under the GPL as described in section 5.1. Your products, texts and images remain yours.
If you send us suggestions, we may use them without any obligation to you.
11. Third-party software and services
The Service works with WordPress, WooCommerce, the SEO plugins it supports, your AI assistant and its provider, and our payment providers. We are not responsible for their availability, their changes or their terms, which apply to your use of them.
12. Availability and support
We use reasonable efforts to keep our licence server and this website available, but we do not promise uninterrupted operation. The 3-day period in section 7 is there so that a short outage does not stop your work.
Support is by email at [email protected]. We aim to reply within one business day (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays in England). Support covers installing StoreEdit AI and Pro, licensing, and how the plugin works. It does not cover general WordPress, WooCommerce or hosting problems, or the behaviour of your AI assistant.
13. Disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. In particular, we do not warrant that every change your assistant proposes will be correct, that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will work with every theme, plugin or hosting set-up. You decide what is applied to your shop.
14. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, including loss of profit, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service;
- our total liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim;
- nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded under English law.
15. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Internet Wizard Ltd against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these Terms, or from content or images you add to your shop in breach of someone else’s rights.
16. Cancellation and termination
16.1 By you
You can cancel at any time. Your key stays valid until the end of the period you have paid for. Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.
16.2 By us
We may suspend or end your subscription and deactivate your key if you seriously breach these Terms, if a payment is not made, if we reasonably believe your use is fraudulent or harmful, or if the law requires it.
16.3 What happens then
Section 7 applies. Sections 10, 13, 14, 15 and 18 continue after the end of your subscription.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. If a change is material, we will email you at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you do not accept it, you can cancel before it takes effect. Corrections of wording or formatting may take effect at once.
18. General
- Entire agreement. These Terms, with the Privacy Policy, Refund Policy and Cookies Policy, are the whole agreement between us about the Service.
- Severability. If a provision is found invalid, the rest stays in force.
- No waiver. Not enforcing a right does not waive it.
- Assignment. You may not transfer these Terms without our written consent. We may transfer them, for example to a company that takes over the Service.
- Events beyond control. Neither of us is liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond reasonable control.
19. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer living in the United Kingdom or the European Union, you keep the mandatory consumer rights of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in the courts there. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights.
